Third time I do this one. Originally a 2-day job destined to help me get back to modeling using a familiar subject. Ended up submitting to that Needlemouse fanart thingy, although it seems to be lost in the limbo of mod approval currently.

Most shapes are very close (if not identical) to the last iteration I did of the character, but it's all new geometry. 150k triangles, no meshsmoothers, better materials.

It was fun.

This is by far the best Mecha sonic Model i ever seen

Btw, i have a rather weird request about this model. Could you give me the model files so i can use it for a mod for Super Smash Bros. Brawl ? This model is so badass it as to be playable ;)

Awesome! Given any thought to doing his predecessor? Mecha Sonic from the "Mecha Madness special" (With Mecha Knuckles) one of Spaz's best IMO, I'm looking to get a Shapeways member on printing a figure up for me, but I need a decent 3D model to have them print from, and so far yours are perfect! Any help?

mind if i us this as a ref? been trying to find a good model or pics of mecha sonic cause i been wanting to draw him! :3 but the pixled sprites just make it hard to tell the detail.
