Commonly known as 'Mecha', lacks an official name and has only made one appearance in S3&K. Varied the design a bit, due to having a sprite as only reference and personal preferences.

This model is old and therefore it sucks.

Silver Sonic from Sonic 2 and Mecha Sonic from S&K are the only real Sonic robots that I like. This picture is beyond cool and you did a great job capturing the character from the limited information you see in his sprite form. GREAT JOB! By the way I don't like Metal Sonic, that model just doesn't look that good.

Not true. He was referred to as Mecha Sonic in the Japanese manuals.

Not true either, he appeared in Sonic 2. The robot you see in that game is a earlier Mecha Sonic model, as evidenced by the fact that he was called "Mecha Sonic" in the Japanese manual. "Silver Sonic" is just a moronic name made up by SoA.

Ok first off mecha sonic is my number one favorite sonic character of all time even though he doesn't appear in anymore game which sucks

Second this is the most epic pic of mecha I've seen that looks like the sprite

So woot mecha sonic for the win
